قال عليه الصلاة و السلام : إِنَّ لِلإِسْلامِ صُوًى وَمَنَارًا كَمَنَارِ الطَّرِيقِ
This logo of al-Manār symbolizes the reminiscence of Muslim culture. Al-Manār is an Arabic word which means the Lighthouse. A lighthouse gives right direction to stray ships in dark and stormy nights and so is the role of al-Manār in this bewildered world.
This logo is the identity of al-Manār as an institution and links it with the glory of Islam. Word al-Manār in black colour is written in Arabic and forms the base of the logo, which provides foundation to three interlocked domes, outlined by six tapering green lines. The dome at right symbolizes al-Qur’ān al-Karīm whereas the dome at left signifies al-Ḥadīth al-Sharīf. The third dome at middle interlocks the two and symbolizes al-Manhaj (methodology) of pious Salaf (predecessors) to understand and interpret the first two twin sources of Islam.
Therefore al-Manār is an institution which provides a vibrant platform to the clear understanding of the Qur’ān and the Sunnah in light of Manhaj al-Salaf, inshā’ Allāh.
